How to visit blocked sites in school and Download videos from YouTube Simplified Edition.

Hey guys, it’s been long since I posted something but today I thought of sharing this awesome trick.

So I was actually looking for a way I could visit my favorite sites in school where they’re blocked/ filtered i.e. Facebook, YouTube and not to mention other much more…the list is actually endless.

 I’m gonna try and explain to my understanding how this works.

STEP 1

Download ultrasurf, Download

This will bypass your network restrictions

*UltraSurf is a lightweight freeware program designed as an anti-censorship tool. It allows to circumvent firewalls using proxies and employs encryption protocols for privacy. Other applications include protecting your security on public WIFI, hiding your IP address and encrypted communication.

 When started, Ultra Surf automatically finds proxy servers from a range of servers globally and builds a connection through an encrypted tunnel. The software executes without installation from a hard drive or portable media, for example USB drive, memory card or CD, and leaves no registry after shut down. Internet Explorer and Firefox are the currently supported browsers UltraSurf runs through.

STEP 2

Launch Ultra surf and visit your favorite site, I prefer you use Internet explorer since it doesn’t require any add-in unlike Firefox.

The good thing that I like about this trick is that you can download YouTube videos while using ultrasurf, without using any third party software. I tried a couple of times to use IDM but then I was caught in the middle since it could not bypass the network restrictions.

I guess I’ll explain that in the next step.

STEP 3

*Using Internet explorer go to youtube and search the video you want to download

*Now you have to make a small change in video link [ Replace "www" to "ss"]
For example http://www.youtube.com/video link
http://ssyoutube.com/video link

*After that it will direct you to a site http://en.savefrom.net/

*From that site now you have to choose the format of the video like mp4,3gp,flv and also shows the video quality like 240p,360p,720p,1080p

From there I can say “Mission accomplished” Try this and let me know if it works for you.
